Got my E-P3 upgraded from E-Pl1

Thanks for your object take Zephyr on upgrading. I have the E-P1, first of the line of micro 4/3rds from Oly. I love it for many reasons, not the least of which is that it's the first. My dilemma is that I would have to sell the E-P1 in order to buy the E-P3. I guess the features alone would...

Got my E-P3 upgraded from E-Pl1

Upgrade So, I take it, upgrading from my E-P1 to any newer PEN would be a vast improvement. I was thinking E-P3. What say you? OMD

    Pictures from St. Augustine FL.

Brings back memories - our daughter worked in St. Augustine up until Mar., '09. We made several trips to see her and of course, take some pix too! Great shots - it's one interesting city (I guess two, if you count old town as one and the 'modern' city as two)

Ken Rockwell on the Death of Photography

I would concur with the above. Perhaps, the premise . . . photography is dying may merely be another way to say it is changing - in some ways good, and in some ways not so good. Enough of my forum fodder, I'm going out and take some pictures (hopefully acceptable ones, wait a minute, they only...

Ken Rockwell on the Death of Photography

Great points Dj. I couldn't have said it better so, I won't. Ken's points, and I certainly don't agree with everything he's ever written, is touching some important nerves causing a re-assessment of why, how, and when we take pictures and for whom!

Ken Rockwell on the Death of Photography

Amin, Can you give me one example of 'interesting' and 'nonsense' Rockwell comments from the posted article? Not trying to be controversial, just curious re: other takes on Rockwell ramblings. Thanks

Ken Rockwell on the Death of Photography

Rockwell - Agree or Disagree? Regardless of what you think of Ken, if your mind is open, you should read this article. Don't know Ken? Then, definitely read it! It will make you think, I mean really think. Wow!

    How did you find mu-43.com?

Like Iansky, I too saw a post on DPReview.

Announcement: Mu-43.com is a sponsor of The Online Photographer

Facinating article! I believe, the m4/3 format will prove to be the most revolutionary development to hit photography since the pin-hole camera!

Under the Boardwalk Took a short walk on a cold, windy beach on Saturday. The sun was out so there was some warmth, but not much!

How do you like your Olympus M. Zuiko 14-42mm lens?

The Zuiko 14-42 'Kit Lens' Here's a shot I took of a pencil on a bench at the beach. Can you read what's on the pencil?

How do you like your Olympus M. Zuiko 14-42mm lens?

The Zuiko 14-42 I think the Zuiko 14-42 'kit lens' is a winner. Why is it popular sport on many of the photo sites to bash the kit lenses from almost every manufacturer? Sure, the kit lense will not satisfy the pro but if it satisfies the amatuer/enthusiast (as in good quality and doesn't...

How do you like your E-P1?

My E-P1 My E-P1 is less than two weeks old, but I think its at the top of the 'most interesting' cameras to come along in quite sometime. Is it the end all and be all to photography? No, but it is truly fascinating given its features and size. It stimulates creativity. I will carry it more...
