    It was shot at f2 or f2.8 with my GH1 and you can see the purple fringe are quite strong in certain situation. 100% crop

    Take apart JCP 28mm?

    Canon FD mount have a lot of small ball bearing inside the mount. If the lens is working I wouldn't worry too much.

    Tilt and Shift Adapters

You can try it out to see if you are really interested. if so then you can invest it and purchase the adapter.

    With an average price of US $850 in ebay I couldn't commit to get one myself. Anyway it's is a very good lens for still life unless you have lightning fast focusing technique. For that butterfly shot it took me quite a few try to get it.

    Showcase Vivitar 55mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 (Komine)

    The closest focus distant is about 2 inches from the tip of the lens to the center of the Dime. It was shoot at f16. The DOF is really shallow in this distance. If I use the 3:2 ratio the dime should fit nicely. eye - I took it myself with the LCD flip forward, so it is not the best shot.:redface:
