    I started without the grip and used a neck strap. When shooting with a wrist strap the grip is perfect for keeping a grip in all situations. The beauty of a removable grip is you can put it on or take it off whenever.....:wink:

    Thanks, I figured any difference would be small. I am a fan of the 14-42mm MK II and should expect to be just as happy with this lens. I wonder what the "R" stands for. R = Really Sharp? Really Fast? Really Pretty? :tongue:

    Isn't the largest filter size for M.Zuiko :43: lenses 58mm? Then I would only need two step down rings, and that shouldn't be too bad.

    I went on B&H's online chat this morning and the representative said they don't get a heads up from the manufacturer. I'll just hunker down and wait. It brings to mind the old Heinz Ketchup commercial back in the 70's with Carly Simon singing "Anticipation"....:biggrin:
