I usually like having an EVF. However, the screen on the GF6 is incredible and the ability to focus and fire the shutter almost instantaneously by touching the screen on the area you want as the focus point really makes a difference for me.
I'd read some rave reviews on the new GF6 with the updated 14-42 lens and have been trying, without success, to find one in a store.
I got a call from my local shop last week and went to have a look. Now I am out of pocket by my Fuji X-E1 but have the GF6 twin lens outfit with the 14-42 and...
I bought this a couple of weeks back and it has just arrived from RRS in USA.
Unfortunately I sold my E-P3 in the interim so have no use for the plate which is black.
Absolutely brand new and never used, includes the Allen key.
Cost me £75 including delivery (there are no suppliers in...
Black E-P3 with 14-42 kit lens boxed in mint condition. Approximately 2 months old and bought from UK store - will include receipt.
Lovely camera but had very little use as I prefer my X100 and will be using this as my only camera. Comes with manuals and box etc (box is for twin lens kit but...
Whilst it has been an expensive mistake the sale price has helped
We're off to London this weekend to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary so I'm hoping to get some nice momento pictures without my wife thinking I'm using the time as a photo trip
I stupidly sold my E-P3 outfit a few months ago (partly to release some cash for a shiny new watch) and tried first a Nikon V1 and then a Sony RX100.
I liked both but missed the overall user experience the E-P3 gave me. Sadly I couldn't afford to go back to the E-P3 - until yesterday :)...
I am considerably downsizing my kit as I don't use my camera equipment anywhere near as much as I used to.
I am therefore selling the following items all in mint condition:
SOLD Olympus VF-2 boxed in mint condition and with approximately 6 months Olympus warranty still in place. Bought in USA...
Pictures of items left
I am just in the process of packing everything up and have found a small mark on the corner of the LCD on the E-P3 - for the sake of honesty I am mentioning this.
It is in the bottom corner and not visible when the screen is being used.
The picture below shows...
[COMPLETED] Selling up MFT outfit (UK) - E-P3 kit, Panasonic 25mm 1.4
I have decided that I am simply not spending time on photography as I used to and am retrenching back to a very small outfit (GF3 with a couple of lenses). I am therefore selling the main part of my MFT equipment which is all...
I've tried LOTS of the MFT cameras (Olympus and Panasonic) but I've always had a love of the E-P1/2/3 series - I really liked the EPL2
Where I have always felt the concept was compromised was the high ISO performance which, allied to a lack of fast lenses, gave me an issue I struggled to accept...
After various changes I have now found my way back to the MFT fold
I've always loved the concept if MFT which I think offers the best overall package of Compact System Cameras but have missed the lack of a good selection of AF primes to cover a wide range.
My friend has recently ordered the...
Hhhmmmmmm - I am in a real quandry here!
I think I need to go to the store and do a side by side with the 20mm. The message I'm getting is that the 17mm is actually a very decent lens for the cost so I think I need to give it a fair chance
Appreciate all the very useful feedback here
I think you're right that my only real option is the 17mm. The Voigtlander does look beautiful but I think I may be divorced if I get it!
I have a store not far away that will probably let me take a few pictures to check out at home. The various threads here seem to indicate that, optically...
Olympus finally releasing some quality primes has lured me back to MFT and I have now found my Holy Grail of compact camera and great primes
My lot comprises of an E-P3 with 12mm F2, 25mm F1.4, 45mm F1.8 and 100-300. I love this combination and all 3 primes give me superb results
What I am...
Due to a change in my photo direction I need to sell my Olympus MFT outfit to fund a DSLR kit. I swore I'd never go back but I have discovered sports photography thanks to Northampton Saints run of good fortune - I would love to keep some of my Olympus gear but finances prevent this
Olympus E-P2 in very nice condition with little sign of use complete with 14-42 kit lens (the metal mount version). Only marks are a rubbing on the back left of the camera (as per the picture), some VERY small marks around the strap ring plus rubbing on the outer edge of the lens (as can also be...
I bought this lens with a GH2 on 5th January this year and since sold the GH2 as I wanted another small Olympus body to go with my E-P2
I got an E-PL2 yesterday which came with the Olympus 14-150 lens so I now have the Panasonic 14-140 lens spare
Lens is in MINT condition, no box as came in a...
When I have handled E-PL1's in stores they have felt very light - it is a matter of taste but the PL2 feels heavier and more robust, almost as much as the E-P2
I personally did not like the plasticky feel of the PL1
The screen on the PL2 is also much better and also a step up from the E-P2...
Took a trip down to London today and managed to detour via Cameraworld.
I am now the proud owner of an E-PL2 to go with my E-P2 ...... oh and a 14-150 lens
And the build quality of the E-PL2 is a HUGE step up from the E-PL1
Because I own the E-P2 and have tried the E-PL1 in a store and the difference in feel is considerable. I appreciate this may not be mean the E-P2 is tougher but I really didn't like the feel of the E-PL1
