    GF1 Replacement Screws

After years of hard use my GF1 has a couple of loose and missing screws. Is there a source to get the body screw for self repair? I have tried every google combo I can think of and keep ending up at sites for UV conversions. - Thanks

The only filter was the Hoya UV. The rest is the camer ISO 200 F 2.0 1/4000 sec in bright light. The 20mm lens can do this and then tac sharp and deep with thte flick of a switch. I shoot raw and then make minor adjustments to clarity, contrast, etc. in lightroom, but only minor tweeks.

    Silencing the GF1

I have looked but yet to find an answer, probably poor search words. Is there a way to make the GF1 shoot silently, i.e. turn off the shutter sound? I am trying to get pics of my 8 month old daughter and the sound wakes her as well as making it almost impossible to sneek candid shots...

I have been shooting for a few weeks with a GoPro Hero wide and really enjoying it for such a simple little box camera it is very capible. I took a moment after working with some of the pictures to dust off my cross multiplication skills and had a ureka moment. The hero cams capture 5 MP...

GF1 with lens will price drop when GF2 arrives?

Maybe if we are lucky (fixed) they will come out with a GF3 that works like our GF1, but with an improved sensor, Better High ISO performance, full HD video blah blah. The GF2 does not work much at all for how I use the camera. I love my GF1 and will be keeping an ear to the ground for deals...

    Slip and Slide

I am not delicate with cameras, I use as tools. I had an old Canon A70 that lasted for years of abuse, twice it hit hard and I had to push the circut board back in and snap it all together. It kept on trucking for a year after that. I am not sure how, by some sort of lawn dart magic, this...

It is here!! The remote came in the mail yesterday, and yes it works. played with it a bit on some test shots, and the half push / full push and 3 seccond delay work fine. It is a lille bit of work to set it up as it is 3 pieces, but functionally it is good. I was able to try out a long...

    GF1 Wireless remote?

That looks very close to what I am looking for. In the decription they say it is similar to the DMW-RS1. Does anybody know what the difference between the DMW-RS1 and DMW-RSL1? I am having trouble finding my manual and or confirming if these two remotes do the same thing in the same way.
