I had my "old" Panasonic G1 modified to Full Spectrum at Optik Macario in Germany (I'm living in Belgium, Europe) and I'm very happy with this choice. I select the wavelength of my external filter in function of what I want to shoot (color or B/W) and my mood :-))
Try to avoid an internal...
They are good guys and dolls, I was in the shop in Den Haag for a tripod, really nice experience. But it is too far from Brussels to become my "brick and mortar" shop, so I usually buy through their webshop. Also very nice !
Enjoy your stay in Holland,
these shops should all be within reach from Den Haag

Hi, Vicky, and welcome from a fellow belgian ...
Depending on the degree of activity of your dogs, micro4/3 may or may not be a good solution for you.
For general dog shots, it's certainly OK, but if you were looking forward to shooting agility competitions or dograces, you might find the...
I got myself a T2 Nikon F adapter, and thus I can use the Panosoft on the Speedbooster now, reducing the focal length with a factor of 0.72
This is one of the first shots of this combination !
I'm a fervent Nikkor glass user, with a "small" collection :-)))
All the Micro-Nikkors are great, the 200 finds most use by me, because I like to shoot insects, and you can stay away far enough ... the 55 is great for flowers, and the 105 is a nice all-rounder also very usable for normal...
Imagon is a series of super soft-focus lenses ! They were basically designed for medium-format and large-format cameras, showing focal lengths from 120mm to 300mm. I've rarely seen the 120mm, but there is a set for Leica-R for sale on the evilbay at this moment. At 2500$, I'll leave it for...
I love visiting zoos with my small family, and shooting while avoiding to make it too obvious that it was in the zoo ...
Not always an easy task.
Anyway, here's an album entirely shot in the Belgian Zoo called Planckendael.

I've tried my SB with a selection of my Nikkor glass, including focal lengths between 20 and 300mm. All worked perfectly, so I can say that I doubled my glass for only 399$. An I won a lot in speed, owning now such superspeed glass as a 35mm f1.0, a 60mm f1.0 or a 210 f2.0
I do not want to...
DX lenses are probably not the best way to go, Peter, as they cover a smaller image circle than the FX lenses.
Mine are all 'vintage' lenses from analog times, FX thous, and the ones I tried already show absolutely no vignetting !
First sample pics with the Speedbooster Nikkor F/G to Micro4/3
with Nikkor 50/1.4 yielding in a combo of 70mm f1.0 equivalent FOV
flickr seems to have some problems at this moment, I hope the sharing works
I own two other 200mm lenses (Nikkor Micro 200/4 IF-ED and a lesser third party lens) but I will happily carry this combination around (with a heavy Berlebach tripod as an little extra) from time to time :-)))
Indeed ! I will be just carrying a small and light Speedbooster, and it's worth two extra lenses :biggrin:
I'll post some pics when it arrives, hopefully before I leave for holidays !
BTW, there will also be a 37/f1.0, a 26/f1.4, a 18/f1.4 ....
All from one Speedbooster ...
Thanks for mentioning this, speedandstyle :-))
I just ordered one, I think the price is OK if you own some Nikkor glass worth adapting ...
My lens collection was just enlarged with a Nikkor IF-ED 213/f2 and a Zoom-Nikkor 57-142/f2 :biggrin::biggrin:
If you know the price and the...
I've not been sharing a lot a pictures recently, mainly because of a lack of time.
But I kept taking pictures with my E-M5 and my modified G1 (Full Spectrum) whenever I had some time.
I put a large selection of my shots from 21/3 till 21/6 here :
Spring2013 - a set on Flickr...
Are you hearing me ???
Anyone interested in a meeting and shooting in the capital of Europe ?
Preferred season would be autumn, as there are plenty of forests around Brussels that turn into magnificent landscapes ...
But, anything else also goes as far as I am concerned !
