Hi friends ,
I am alive and kicking ,
Lets celebrate 3rd of April as World MFT day :) . Lets get out and shoot few shots and share here . I am still using MFT as my main system but don’t have enough time to visit this wonderful forum . I am so glad to see so many members
O totally agree with OP , MFT fits the Bill for majority of US . We are getting sucked into marketing hype and FF is the buzz word these days . One of my ultrarich young intern came to know that I am interested in photography and started to discuss gear and all...
Absolutely brilliant shots and I didn't know Olympus sells their gorgeous colour technology to Leica :) and you r perhaps tricking us , you have used Leica SL and Leica Q to get these shots :biggrin:. Moreover , mft user with a smaller sensor or tiny sensor has no right to shoot...
Hasselblad announces 100MP H6D-100c capable of 4K, H6D-50c 50MP option and undoubtly its is the best camera for selfies, fb and Instagram uploads but Hasselblad doesn't offer a compatible selfie stick :2thumbs:
I totally agree and having used Sony A7RM2 for few weeks and I still own A7M2, but I always reach for Olympus EM5M2 and even Panny GM1 . I terms of sensor , Sony A7 might have slight edge but in terms of features and usability , Sony has yet to cover a lot .
Lot of discussions regarding Olympus going FF . Olympus has been recently filing patent for FF lenses and I am not sure if they are gonna develop these lenses for Sony or they are getting ready to unleash a monster in FF market . Canon and Nikon rule the FF...
Thanks for the reply guys :)
I think best would be to go on same day and shoot and we can choose the winner . I am also very keen on publishing a book of best shots from this forum. I will ask Amin for some more ideas .
Hi Manju ,
Sony A7RMii is a fantastic machine but an overkill for day2day photography . I loved it but for me and my needs, there is nothing which comes close to MFT when it comes to usability , features , lens selection etc . There was a strange thing with A7RMii - writing...
A few years we thought of celebrating 3rd April as MFT day but it never really kicked off well . We shall celebrate this year with more enthusiam and post your best MFT shots . I have a spare Sigma 60mm 2.8 and I am happy to give away that lens as a...
I was in Sydney for a week and had Sony A7RMii with me and managed to get some night shots . This thread is dedicated to pixel peepers :2thumbs:. Most of these shots are shot with Zeiss 16-35 mm F4 and only few are shot with Zeiss 55 mm 1.8 .
Mu43 sensor is very small yet bigger than 99.99% photographers out there including pros and non pros and thats end of the story .If you u love pixel peeping then get Sigma Merrills and throw everything else in the bin .
Hi Denny ,
I agree with you , mentality has changed a lot and camera manufacturer's are also to be blamed for that . I had Panasonic GX8 briefly and I have Olympus EM5M2 , I never noticed any issues and infact I dont think I missd any shots because of speed . I...
Hi Guys :)
I can't believe we are still discussing such things on this forum. We shall be lucky to be an era which gives us countless options to choose from depending on your need and budget . The perfect camera doesn't exist in reality and every upcoming model sounds...
5 pages :026::026::026:and Olympus still has neither suspended selling OMD EM5M2 nor announced EM2 with tilt screen :hide::laugh1::laugh1:, My EM5M2 doesnt has inbuilt toaster and my wife suggested they shall add small makeup kit slot in batterygrip
Dear Friends ,
Happy New year and I hope everyone had good fun during Christmas and New Year time,
I am quite old member of this forum but took a break from any gear related discussions but never stopped shooting. Here are some shots from Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney ,all of...
:thiagree:, Its crazy how people can find so much time to waste and such stuff . Too much availability of time , gear and money will limit creativity and one usually ends up doing weired things :confused-53:
