Wildlife: show us your walk on the wild side and post your wild animal photos

One from my pre-mu4/3 days. Shot with my first digital camera, a Canon A 640. Nice little camera, but not much reach, so you can imagine this was getting pretty close... Taken on Kodiak Island in October, some years back.

Ronnie, I'm off to NZ and a couple other stops, but I'll be back in late March. April is my favorite month for eagles and waterfowl down here, so let's plan to get together then.

Richard, used the E-M1 ii, but the Mk 1 would have done as well.

The entrance to a windmill, I probably got brain cancer while taking this. Harvey, doesn't take much--we micro 4/3rs only have a 1/4 size brain anyhow....

    Gorgeous is Foxy

Ronnie, This November weather has been about the worst I can remember. Down here it has either been wet, windy, or wet and windy. Last week we had the worst easterly that my neighbor has seen in his 35 years. We lost several large spruces, and a couple fell on my neighbors boathouse...

Ronnie, Great photos. I know the light wasn't great, but I really like these shots with the falling snow. Looks like AK in the winter! And I love the low angle perspective. Great, and I look forward to seeing more, Take care, E

I've lately been working on subject isolation. This attempt was shot @ 1/250 sec, but what really highlights the awesome sync-IBIS of the 300 Pro is that it was shot balancing off my foot with the screen turned up, rather than my usual evf method. I haven't shot with other formats, but getting...

    MacOS RAW processing options?

I agree that Affinity is a spectacular program for the money, but I will caution that it might not be the best for someone who hasn't a lot of experience with processing. I'm slowly churning through the workbook and have viewed the tutorials, and while I'm impressed with the results, Affinity...
