Opening up the site to all cameras

If we change, and from Amin's post this morning he is obviously leaning that way, then the ability to filter out content other than mu-43 seems a good option as I can probably use the site as I do now and ignore what to me is a distraction ... and a siren call to GAS. I would like to keep the...

Opening up the site to all cameras

I'm thinking about fully opening up Mu-43 to other camera systems besides MFT rather than relegating them to "Other Systems". Please let me know what you think. The bit you underlined was one of the consequences IF the site was opened up

Opening up the site to all cameras

Have I missed the bit where we (Amin?) took the decision, this is supposed to be a 'will we, won't we' thread … not a ' what shall we call ourselves when we do' thread.

Opening up the site to all cameras

I would be against opening the site for no other reason than it wouldn't give me what I want and use it for, which is looking at info, output etc for my specific system, inevitably I would drift away and not log on so often … but … I don't have to finance the site.

Pictures not taken by a m43 cameras

I'm a fence sitter too in that I feel mildly unsure about why people post a lot from other systems, but I was/am not worried enough to raise it as an issue, especially now that exif data is shown although for some reason not on all photos. I do get irritated at people who start threads for...

    Agility Dog Competition advice needed

There was a post on this some years ago, maybe a search would highlight it but I seem to remember it was showcasing the 50-200. It is like BIF's where you need to predict the travel patterns, and as always, what will the light be like? Best of luck if it comes off. Geoff

    jammed sd card e-m1ii

Thanks for the reply and that's what I am doing. It seems as though the suggested cause was a case of retailer b**l. Once I am happy that it isn't the camera's fault then binning and moving on is the sensible option although the lack of support from the retailer bugs me. The reason I shop in...

    jammed sd card e-m1ii

I am sorry this is a tad lengthy but maybe the detail will answer questions before they are asked. I bought an Agfa 64 gb high speed xc1 on holiday in mid-June as I was running out of storage space, put it in slot 2 on my e-m1ii which is my back up slot and of course didn't need it. The card...

I liked the picture but I had to google to find out what a tfp is, is it a common term because I don't think I have seen it before, or if I have it didn't register? … but then thinking about it, that seems to be increasingly true of a lot of things in my life. :hmmm:

Would that happen in the middle of a grassy field? I wonder if it was diverting attention from a fledgling. I did notice though that his plumage and the photo on Dan's avatar have a passing resemblance … perhaps it was looking for a mate … :hiding:
