GH4 Owners - Pro Grade Photo and Video Comment Pls

Hey ProPhotoDude, et al: I think unless you're printing VERY LARGE prints and you shoot in very difficult lighting, the images you receive from a GH4 or equivalent M/43 camera will be virtually indistinguishable (from an IQ perspective) from ANY full frame DSLR -- let alone a Canon 70D with...

n=New camera or old one and new lens?

Sorry to hear of your wife's passing. The GF-1 is a great camera and definitely has its place in history (at least with regards to the M-43 format and its evolution!). That said, given your budget, my take on your situation is that you already own what I believe to be an EXCELLENT lens in...

    Full Frame Olympus is coming

Surprised to see that their test showed the E-M1 besting the new GH-4 -- this given that the GH-4 supposedly edges out the E-M1 with regards to dynamic range, etc. That said, I too have found the E-M1's low light performance to be exemplary to say the least.

    EM-5 vs EM-1 image quality

As Joe already asserted, I too find it odd that you aren't pleased with the sharpness of the images captured with your E-M5. For me, the E-M5 was a total game changer. Now you have the 12-40, which primes do you use and why?

While I agree that the 12-40 is superb and an extremely versatile lens, I have NOT found it to be "sharper" than the P20. In fact, my experience is that the P20 is sharper than the P/L25 (which gets a lot more love than its smaller more compact sibling -- in part I think because of its "Leica"...
