AFAIK there is no 150mm f2 lens on m4/3. There is only an Olympus 4/3 SHG version of that lens and to use that lens on the OMD EM-1, you need to have an adapter (MMF-1, MMF-2 or MMF-3). Check out samples in this thread: https://www.mu-43.com/showthread.php?t=32190
Thanks HMR, Kristi and all.
We lost Joshi I (in Germany - he couldn't hang on for my trip over there) and Joshi II (Melbourne) within a time span of 5 months. Both died of old age but still quite hard to take. We were thankful that we could spend the last 2 weeks with him.
My beloved dog Joshi II passed away last weekend. It's quite upsetting for my wife and kids. We came back from a 2 months Europe trip and he was probably not the same as before we left and he was gone after 2 weeks. I just keep thinking of his old age but also he must have missed us through...
I slowly moved to M.4/3 and then sold all my HG 4/3 lenses since AF on the EM-5 was so slow. Recently I bought the Em-1 and re-bought the 50mm f2 (for 200A$ - would you believe it?!). It is now mounted by default on my Em-1. Love the rendering, the sharpness and the versatility of this lens.
Bought an E-PM2 in the first week of May. In my email of confirmation it said: "Once your claim has been approved by the promotions team please allow up to 12 weeks for the payment of your claim."
The 6 weeks may only applied to the OMD EM-1 ?!
Olympus promotion is still on. Here is an excellent deal on the EM-5 and EM-1 from camerapro:
