    Review Pen-F 10 months in

I know this is an old thread but there are some newer post soooo I got the Pen-f on first day of release. I instantly loved the camera. I used it just about everyday for a year. I sold it to my business partner, Olivier. I sent it to him in Korea. The day I sent it, I had a sick feeling and I...

I was very nervous selling my EP-5's. Great cameras. Then I read so much negative stuff about the Pen F, I went to my shrink. He uses Leica's so no help. So now that she and i are getting used to each other, I find most things bunk and don't pay attention. On the street, she's a very comfy...

    I've rediscovered 'film'

I don't think I missed anything. Many shooters get involved with the debate about film vs digital. I merely stated that whatever floats your boat and that the image is all that matters. What matters in photography is not how you do it but why. Peace Bro', I may be getting older and a bit...

    Looking for a new Pen...

I use a pair of Pen3's because they do what I need a camera to do. There is much talk about IQ and I have been accused of using an ancient sensor. I make prints for sale, no issues. The Pens have a feel to them that just makes them the right camera. Good luck in your quest.

The 3rd one is my pick. The juxtapositions are strong in here. The guy with the hand on the shirt and the woman on the left...their arms play well together supporting that side of the image. The killer part is the poster and the woman...the difference in cultures is magnified by the shape of...

I have the 14, both 17's, 25 & 45. I generally use the 14 and 25 on the street. I never use the 45 as it's way to long. The 17 2.8 is a great street lens and I prefer it to the 17 1.8...shhhhhh! I will sell the 17 1.8 shortly, to a friend. If I had to choose between the 14 & the 17 I'd take...

I'm on the Pen3 and I have to say, I sold the 20mm today to a forum member. 4th time I did that. The 25 is the lens after the 14mm. I'm lucky cause I come from the dayz when Nikon's weighed in at around 4 lbs with a 50 1.4. The thing about the 25 is the CONTRAST. That's the magic with all...

    Lightroom philosophy help??

Lightroom does a great job, better then Nik SEP2 once you get the hang of it. The key issue approach each image on it's own merits. Then looking at it, try to get a definition of what it looks like in a finished state. If you use the Library module and the grid...just pick your images...
