funny, but somewhat cruel... poor bird :(
Where was this? Did you take the photo yourself?

this guy is definitely Chinese, note the watermark on the photo. I'm Chinese too but probably that's the only thing I have in common with our serious wildlife photographer!!

Nice way to handle focus problems with birds  Now for his next trick; how to get bears up close...

The worst part with the OP is the bird was probably ill or tame to allow itself to be easily captured.

I find it more of a serious idiot than a serious photographer.

Perhaps, in the spirit of Monty Python, this was an "ex-parrot" (i.e. deceased but presented as if it was alive)? Or perhaps the photo was digitally altered? The ruffled feathers around the photographer's hand seem a bit off to me (or perhaps it's just my el-cheapo laptop monitor). The shadows look correct but the ruffles seem...off.

If so, it's pretty funny

Or perhaps the guy was really holding a live bird as depicted and he (the guy, not the bird) is simply a jerk.

If so, it ain't funny at all

As for the catsuit...words simply fail me .

Regards,

Jim
