Blue tits are very busy collecting insects for their youngs which probably leave the safe nest box in a matter of hours.
All cropped almost 100%

The best of the Geese BIFs taken with probably the last session with the 75-300 -- i now have the 40-150+mc. Processed a bit better than recent efforts, still rusty after a lengthy lay off. And a mono swallow that i quite like with the 40-150+mc.

With wonder a young Great Tit for the first time see the big world it is now to be out in. The parents calling from the trees close. It must leave the safe nestbox - scary.

Been away a bit & doing lots. Time to catch up.

At the Eagle nest, first signs of hunger. Mom came in w/ a good fish & a clearly hungry Dad came right in to eat - mom wasn't too happy but let him eat in peace.

Amazing how fast fir branches grow!!!

Spent the day out yesterday trying to shoot small birds in flight, mostly red winged blackbirds. Trouble is, they seem to always change direction as soon as they get airborne!

This little fledgling found me fascinating, and hopped from tree to tree investigating me, while it's mom sat on a high perch and screamed at him the entire time:

Guess who?

I was experimenting flowers in backyard with the O45+MCON+Flash at dusk. Suddenly I heard flapping wings noise over my head. Saw it on top of me flying around tree branches. Quickly took off the MCON & snapped this. Don't talk about when traveling, even to backyard I need to bring more lenses next time :)
