I've been almost entirely shooting with Fuji these days. X-E1 with 35mm:

might get the 35mm later but right now, i am waiting for the 23mm/f1.4 :smile:

Thanks for starting this thread, wasn't too sure myself . Anyway, I shot quite a bit with an X-Pro1 and 35mm for couple of weeks when I was visiting my sister in Bay area. My niece is my favorite model, so to begin with, here are two that photos I made of her:

It looks like there are at least a few of us dabbling in multiple systems.

I have to say...except for shooting at base ISO in good light, I really, really prefer the Fuji sensor output even compared to my G5 (just a bit short of the very best m43). Oh M43 is certainly the more practical system for me...but if I get only 1 chance to take the shot, it's probably going to look nicer with the X-E1. :/ It's giving me a bit of a conundrum for my next vacation..

Agreed on all counts, m4/3 is definitely more practical overall but I do really like something about the Fuji output. It's really crisp and just renders really nicely. And yes, I feel the same way about my next vacation - the conundrum hasn't improved any now that I'm also playing with a FF DSLR

I'd have to agree. I like my OM-D but I also like the X-Pro1. The 35mm is such a sweet lens and the images from X-Pro1 are amazing. I know a lot of people complain about moire and artifacts and so far, I haven't seen anything major. Ideally, I'd like to keep both the OM-D and Fuji X-Pro1 and have two different EFL lenses mounted on them and switch depending on the scenario. Atleast, that's what I end up doing :smile:.

Yep the fuji output is great as we can see in this thread. A friend who shoots FF sony believes the fuji IQ is better than what he gets (though less shallow DoF obviously) with the bigger sensor. Technology is great! Now we just need better Raw support..

I love the X-Pro and loved the X100 before that. In addition to the OMD. Neither is better but they're quite different and shooting both keeps me on my toes and interested.

Yep, the IQ is pretty awesome. But, what excites me the most is how well the 35mm performs. I am in love with the photos that I make with that lens. I hope Adobe works it out with Fuji soon and gives a good update to the ACR.

The following photograph is perhaps my favorite photo of 2012 because it's so personal and close to my heart. I realize that I should have taken care of the blinds and the bed in the bg, but that sparkle in his eye and his smile makes me forget about all of those. Something about this photo makes me smile every time I look at it.

This was SOOC JPG. I'll admit that I have never shot JPG before but that might just change with this camera and lens. The light source was an SB-28 through a Cheetah Qbox 24 with double diffusion.

thanks, dave. but yet another learning curve with no touch screen...
i hope some firmware can improve the UI for focus area - with the thumb wheel perhaps.
