    I don't think it's as easy as all that. You're introducing another element of glass between the shutter and the bayonet mount, and you'd need an assembly the can rotate it in and out. With a fixed lens camera, that's not so difficult to design, but once the lenses are interchangeable, it becomes more complicated.

    All I know is that it is a standard feature on video cameras of any worth, whether they are fixed lens or not.

    And the price of those video camera's? I can't think of an interchangeable lens camera with built in ND's that aren't a lot more expensive than any m43 camera.

    Video cameras are also almost invariably quite a bit bigger.

    Video are not a priority but a welcome feature if it has good capabilities.
