For the longest time, I'd been debating between the Olympus 12mm and the Panasonic 14mm...if this little guy fills the small size role as well as it appears, it looks like I'll be going to for the 12mm as the low light wide...

Thanks for the kind comments, for what it is and how much it costs, I'm impressed. It will not replace my P14 2/5, but it will ensure my GF3 will get more use as it make it so pocketable.

Geez, not bad at all. No "trick lens" look here, except maybe for some vignetting in low light in that last B&W shot. Oddly, I really like that shot, so go figure . . . Darren, how close can it focus?

The vignetting as added as I wanted to go for that look, I tried it out and liked it.

The closest it can focus is 30cms, the pink rose in my first batch was taken at that distance.

It's good to see some shots from this lens. I'm looking forward to getting mine and trying it out in a few different situations. I think it's going to be a good lens to work with.
