Moon in blue sky
this is a shot from today, with G1 and Nikkor IF-ED 300/2.8 combined with the TC-300 teleconvertor (2x)

is it a single frame shot or stacked? nice crisp detail

It's a single shot, but not really a daytime shot.
EXIF states that it was taken @ 21.32, and that's twilight nowadays.
In fact, I find it easier to shoot @ twilight, because you don't have to master the enormous contrast you have when shooting the moon in a dark sky.

Great shot Raf. BTW, I am keen to know how this lens does for birding on the G1. If not too much trouble could you share some pics?
