High Speed Synch Flash
Is anybody using, or can anybody suggest a 4/3 compatible flash that will give me flash speeds higher than the native synch speed of 1/160th sec?
I only want to use it for insect macro photography so high power is not an issue, also the smaller the better.
The camera is a GH2.

You can use certain Metz, Panasonic or Olympus Flashes

The Olympus flash is the same as the Panasonic, but allows for remote flash with Olympus cameras. Might be worth spending 10 bucks extra if there is a remote chance that you'll get an Olympus body later.
The Olympus non R is probably the cheapest to get high speed sync, if you can find new old stock or used. It's the same flash as the Panasonic but with Olympus logos and lacks remote capability.

I use a FL36R flash unit that has FP TTL and FP Manual modes. Good results although as per the manual one will only get about 25 - 30 FP shots before the flash needs a little time to rest. Others have more experience with the FL50 and I believe there are other 3rd party FP units available.
If I was to purchase another unit I would consider the new FL600. It is only $70 more than the FL36R and has a similar size and quicker recycle times.
