    The first and last is great and it stands out being on a plane without much of the thin DoF effect. The Guineaflower picture has an impression of powerful moving, like seeing picture of cavalry marching or beast crawling. Must be the darker colour and the lines :D

    If you have the 25/1.4 and want to keep it, the 17/1.8 is probably too close. There's the 35mm folks and the 24/28+50mm folks. :D

    There's a public display of weapons used by the national army today. But because there's so many visitors, it's difficult to take pictures. Not to mention the children are Zerg Rush-ing the tanks and making things even lot more difficult.

    A smudged yet sharp look for me But that's relative depending on the lab and scanner. That and not over-saturating the annoying sharp colours, but this is also relative to the film used. :P

    gx1 keeps select incorrect focus element

    Had similar issue, but I thought it's my PZ 14-42 acting up and it's not so apparent on small picture/big dof. Will try again tonight with other lens.

    Are we bombarded by too many images?

    What's gone is quick spontaneous enjoyment of seeing the pictures. It might not affect those who spend time appreciating art, but after being bombarded with too much pictures, it's more difficult to appreciate the abundance of average pictures than when it's still in more manageable volume.
