Cons:

power-zoom-only means battery drains a bit faster

This lens is designed for video, but I like this lens too. The focal length range makes it an excellent lens for the zoo, and the internal zoom is nice. The image quality is very very good. I do wish this lens had a faster minimum aperture (as with most lenses) and were a tiny bit sharper at 175mm, but I can't complain about the way it renders colors and has excellent contrast.
It sits between the older 45-200 and the newer 45-150. I haven't had either one, but I've heard the older lens is soft at its longest focal range. The MTF charts for the newer one make it seem sharper than this lens, and I like the smaller size, but early reports say the image quality is about the same as this lens so I'll probably just keep this one.
