Pros:
small for what it can do, very good IQ especially below 150mm
Cons:
expensive slow lens
Smallest 600mm FF equivalent lens, which translates into handheld bird shots during the day, excellent sharpness and contrast up to 150mm but drops down a bit after that focal length. Would recommend keeping an f-stop of no lower than f/8 when shooting. Zoom ring turns smoothly unlike the tight zoom ring in the 40-150mm lens. Would recommend any serious birdwatcher (or peoplewatcher) to get this lens.
