    Hi Ed,

Yes, the Zuiko 70-300mm has always been bad for hunting even with its native 4/3 system. It's a wonderful lens in many ways, but it's not one you use if you rely on fast autofocus. You could however try locking it on Manual Focus and pre-focus your shots instead for better results. If you get a new lens though, that will definitely help in being able to use AF in these situations. The E-PM1 certainly improves focus speed, but nowhere near the efficiency of a new lens. Don't bother upgrading your body for Autofocus speed unless you've already got a fast AF lens and just need to squeeze out that last ounce of AF speed from your system. The lens design determines most of your AF speed, and the body can do nothing but maximize the efficiency of that lens.

Sorry I didn't see your message sooner. I have to be honest, I didn't know this feature was here...new fangled stuff, this internet and all.
I appreciate your kind words on the photos of Discovery. I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I felt privileged to be there. I'm very proud of this country's space program, and I'm sorry to see the shuttle program come to an end. Like you, I have reservations about Enterprise being displayed on the deck of the Intrepid. I understand the Intrepid Museum is under agreement with NASA to provide a climate controlled enclosure to house Enterprise in, but I'm not sure the deck of the ship is the appropriate place. She was very lovingly cared for at Udvar-Hazy, I hope the Intrepid Museum will do as well. My pleasure on the airplane thread.
