I can't compare the Konica to other zooms of similar vintage, since I haven't used any. As for its performance on my E-P1, I can say that it's not terribly sharp at 200 mm f/4, with the sort of "halo" around everything that I find with a lot of older lenses used wide open (OM 50 mm f/1.8, Hexanon 40 mm f/1.8, etc.). Things are better by f/5.6, and it's quite sharp at f/8. See some examples here:
