Well I made myself a set of extension tubes and had the chance to test my Pentax 50mm f2.0 as well as jbart's Canon 28mm f2.8 (correct me if I am wrong jbart) lens.I also tested a 5$ 16mm cctv lenses from ebay.
With the 50mm reversed and my 10cm tube I can get about a 3.5x magnification, but the longer the tubes, the more I get a milky-film-like glare in my pictures.
With the reversed 28mm Canon however, the colors had a tint of blue that was not present in real life...

Well as I had mentioned in my last blog, I have a few more projects on the go other than my reconstruction of the old kodak (which was my first, but by far longest), and the first project to start after and finish before is done! I have built a mechanical shutter release cable bracket that allows me to use an old-school cable on my new E-PL1.
As usual, you can see more pictures here on my flick!
First I picked a piece of metal (from an old stereo system).

Well I have been hard at work removing rust, I sanded, filed, used my dremel's grinding, cutting and boring bits, but it is starting to pay off! After doing all that, I cleaned it off with ethanol, and it looks great, but it seems I will have some patching to do in the fabric, good ting it was double or triple layered! This thing is built like a beast! I am really putting a lot of stress on this thing, leaning into it when I sand it, beating...

I recently came across an old ND2-A folding cartridge premo Kodak. The body is well beyond the point of restoration, but the mechanism on the other had is not. So as I embark on this journey of restoring the mechanism and rebuilding a body for this camera over the next weeks\months, I have decided to take you along with me!
Here are my first pictures prior to the tear down of the body (see them all here as my project progresses as well as extra posts I won't put in the forum)....
