Was just coming out of Dobbies Garden Centre today when I spotted this butterfly. He was huge!!! I had my e-pl1 and 20mm lumix lens with me but every time I tried to step closer to take a photograph he'd fly that little bit further away so this is the best shot I could manage before he finally flew out of my reach. I don't know if he's a common butterfly in Edinburgh. I've never seen one like it before. There is a butterfly farm across the road and I wondered if I had come across him as he was making...

This was taken on one of my favourite walks near my home. Wasn't taken today, but wanted to post this picture anyway because I kind of like it. Taken with my E-PL1 and Olympus 35mm Macro Lens, then post processed with Photoshop Elements.

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticisms most welcome (if the little box appears below my post tonight)!

Came home today from another stressful day at work, pulled out my new toys onto the dining table, along with my mini tripod, E-PL1 and Olympus Zuiko Digital 35mm F3.5 Macro Lens and clicked my stresses away!

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticisms most welcome.

Had so much fun experimenting (that's adult talk for playing) with the Doctor Who collectables (that's more adult talk, this time for toys), I went out and bought two more today. This one is a Weeping Angel. I know, it's blurry. This was unintentional but I think it works better this way as it seems to add more menance to the image.

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticisms most welcome.
