We got him from the rescue shelter just before I went to University, he was a wonderful characterful hound, always excited to see me when I made it back to my parents increasingly sporadically. Old age caught up with him earlier this year. This photograph sums him up quite well

Sorry to hear of your loss, but it is good to know that I was not alone in having a dog named Josh. He looks like he was a good pal.

Thanks for your comment. He was a super dog, bags of personality and a real member of the family. It's not quite the same when I go back to visit my folks without him. They have a new dog now, but she's no Josh.
