Default Snapseed Now Free and Available for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows

Nik Snapseed, photo editing software for mobile devices as well as Windows and Mac, is now available for both Android and iOS (previously no Android version) and is free on all platforms all mobile platforms (previously $4.95 on iOS).

You can get it in the Apple Appstore or Google Play Store.

More information here: Snapseed | Snap it. Tweak it. Love it. Share it.

Correction: This post previously said Snapseed was free on all platforms. The Mac and Windows versions still cost $19.99 each. Only the iOS and Android versions are now free. [Thanks cookme]
Thanked by Hyubie, RnR, Mogul and 1 others.

this is a great app, probably the best image processing app for mobile devices. I paid for it on iOS, but took advantage it being free on Android for my Note II.

Snapseed has been free on and off several times. I've used quite a few of the apps that are comparable and, IMHO, Snapseed is the best of the bunch. None are the equivalent of using Lightroom or a similar program on a desktop with a large, color-calibrated monitor, not even close, but (again, IMHO) Snapseed is the category leader here. Get it while you can.

Since the current version of Snapseed is now free I wonder if they will be bringing our a Pro version, albeit more expensive, like the Filterstorm's pricing structure? Real RAW? It is amazing what is happing to the photog's iPad/tablet world.

it's still 19.99 for OS X and Win, unless it's just a delay on pricing update...
