I will, in fact I allready ordered it

I used to do a lot of street shooting with a Canon 135 f2 so this is a perfect focal length for when you want to do some lazy street shooting, and when I say lazy I mean "not willing to get close to a guy that looks unfriendly"

Here are some examples of my street shooting with a Canon 135 f2 that I hope to repeat soon with Oly's 75 f1.8:

Inspirational shots! Simply fantastic. Isn't it great when the exception takes the rule and kicks it right out of the park?

I'll certainly be hitting the streets with my 75mm when it arrives.
Thanked by DHart.

I plan on using the 75mm for street shooting also. And, I've never seen a rule that states that street shooting must be done with a wide lens.....

toshiro... that Canon 135/2 produced magnificence under your command!

I'm betting the 75/1.8 will be similarly under your spell.

The first image below is almost the framing and just the imaging look I like to do for portraiture - upper body, landscape orientation, shallow DOF, outdoor setting.

Of course your skillful processing plays a great role in the richness of the images.

I'm happy to see that a lot of people think the same way. I sold my 75-300 for the better subject isolation with this lens, also hoping to challenge myself into getting a bit closer to my subjects. :p
