Default More Leica DG 25mm Summilux Samples

I've been scouring the globe to find Leica DG 25mm Summilux samples which give particularly good insight into the character of this exciting new lens, and found some at Nomobile.ru (Russia).

Out of courtesy to Nomobile.ru, I won't direct link or embed the images here (like some rumor sites do). Check them out at the source: Original (Russian), Google-translation

[via OMuser forums]

You can pre-order the DG Summilux from Adorama and J&R (Thanks tabbyarthur)
Thanked by Armanius.

The samples from the Asian site looked more impressive. Showed more of the bokeh characteristics of the lens IMO.

Yes, the OMuser thread was even better, but there are several on the Russian site which are good examples. Surprisingly the few mainstream sites in English have posted very few samples by which to judge the character of bokeh.

Unfortunately I don't read Russian, but the translation was amusing in places.

I swear the m43 group is dead set on making purchasing decisions as hard as possible. First, the omission of the flash in the original PENs, then, when they add one to compete with the GF1, they make the body and screen cheaply and destroy the UI.

If they had put IS in this lens it would have been a slam dunk, especially at this price. Since they did not, I see no compelling reason for someone to upgrade from the 20/1.7; and see incredible price pressure on this lens (solely due to size) when the newness novelty wears off.
