I only see $999 - $150 = $849. Am I missing something?

If you're an employee of an organization participating in the Panasonic Employee Purchase Program, you may be eligible to receive discounts on Panasonic products.
Check eligibility https://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wc...JbPN5qQg%3D%3D

If you don't have EPP you can go through Panasonic Facebook page for fans only deals...but it would be more expensive at $649.96.
Thanked by phrenic.

EPP (Employee Purchase Plan)?

IIRC you can get the discount also by 'friending' them on facebook.

Thanks! I'm a newb and didn't know what EPP meant.

Wonder if this price is a foreshadow of things to come. I'm in the market for something with great video capabilities and it seems this GH2 seems to fit the bill especially with the video hacks!

Their site is taking a beating - I can't seem to keep a reliable connection going to shop.panasonic.com. I'm just wondering how low the price will go, and when to pull the trigger.

got in, and I'm eligible... so tempted to pull the trigger on this now. $600 w/ lens - that's what I paid for my GF1!

Is there any way to get the EPP price if you're not technically "eligible", or is that just shady? The facebook friends price of $650 is still a great deal, but 50 bucks is 50 bucks.
