I bought one from dzone2, and I am amazed at the speed of shipping. FedEx International Priority was two days from China. I don't typically buy foreign lenses, but at this price it is worth the savings and risk.
Thanked by Bhupinder2002.

On a $1000 item, sure. But $62 on a $399 item is almost a 16% savings.

Got my 45/1.8 from a similar place last month - a Korean eBay outlet. $340 shipped. Lens was NIB and works great.

Question is whether you expect the lens to fail in the first year. If yes, spend the extra money for the warranty since any repair will be at least $150. I was reasonably confident in the lens, so I took the gamble.

Amex gives you extra 1 year warranty automatically. But otherwise, where do you get the extra warranty -- squaretrade?

No, I meant that if you want the warranty, pay the extra $60 or whatever and get it from B&H/Amazon etc. I have had nothing but grief with third party warranties - IMO the only one worth having is the one that is backed by the manufacturer.

SOme of the ebay sellers are real gems and offer much better prices. I bought my Oly 45mm 1.8 from someone in Korea and they shipped same day , lens arrived in Australia via FEDEX in three days . My local camera store is offering the same lens at AUD 499 and I paid only AUD 329 including shipping . So thats a saving of AUD 170 , and I think its a huge amount of money.
Cheers

I wanted to buy from my local shop, but at $499 plus tax (8%) vs $337 shipped is a $200 savings. I did buy my B&W lens cover/filter from him tho.
