Default Lexar Memory Card Sale at B&H

Some great deals going on the high performance Lexar cards:

Lexar SDHC Memory Card Professional Class 10 UHS-I | B&H Photo Video

My personal favorite is still the Class 10 Sandisk 16GB card:

SanDisk 16GB SDHC Memory Card Ultra Class 10 UHS-I

And the Sandisk is still cheaper, even with the Lexars on sale.

Are you sure the Sandisk is cheaper?

A single Sandisk 32GB 45MB/s is $43.95.
A single Lexar 32GB 60MB/s is $37.86.

I just ordered a two-pack of Lexar 32GB 60MB/s SDHC cards for $70.54.

It depends on the specific comparison. I think he was referring to the Sandisk 16GB 30MB/s card ($16.95) I linked vs the Lexar 16GB 60MB/s card ($21.31), which isn't quite apples to apples if those max speeds are accurate. The Lexar performance would put it in between the 45MB/s Sandisk ($22.95) and the 95MB/s Sandisk ($43.95)

After looking at it closer, I ordered a two-pack of Lexar 16GB 60MB/s cards for $36.72. Seems like a great deal for a card that will outperform my old standby, the Sandisk Ultra.

Amazon is charging $55.64 (52% more than B&H) for the same Lexar two-pack.
Thanked by Ranger Rick.

Yes, I was looking at the 16 GB cards. I tend to prefer to have multiple smaller cards than one really big one. In the event I lose or break one, or one simply fails (happened to me twice over the years), I won't lose as much. I generally stick to 8 GB cards, actually.

I should have realized you were referring to different cards. I have need of faster, larger cards for use with a Canon XA10 video camera. I want to just be able to grab a card, insert it in the image capture device, format it, and resume shooting. I also will back up smaller cards to larger cards and FLASH drives when traveling.
