Default [FINISHED!]*Insane* Olympus Store-Wide Deals! Refurb E-M5 Kit for *$754*. Lenses and Accessories too!

***UPDATE***

The sale seems to be over! As I said there's a good chance someone at olympus just screwed up the pricing temporarily, but I am very confused as to how so many items got discounted to such varying degrees. Perhaps a future sale? Let's hope that in the Christmas spirit olympus will honor these prices!

------------------------

The prices are so low I thought the website must have been glitching, or someone screwed up badly. getolympus.com is running *huge* discounts. Right after I bought an E-M5 from amazon for $1200 . Hopefully Amazon will price match refund me the difference. I wanted to use amazon's financing options, but I'd rather pay 754 in one go.

E-M5, New (Click Here):
Black E-M5 Body Only(select from drop down menu): $699.99
Silver 12-50 Kit: $909.99

Pens (Click Here):
E-PM2 Kit: $419.99
E-PM2 Body: $384.99
E-PL5 Kit: $489.99
E-PL5 Body: $454.99

Refurbished, prices are even better (Click Here):
Black and Silver E-M5 12-50mm Kits: $753.99
Black 14-42 kit: $637.99

EDIT:

Lenses have huge discounts too! (Click Here)
12mm: $591.99
17mm f1.8(pre-order): $369.99
60mm macro: $369.99
45mm: $299.99
75mm: $665.99
And some of the zooms too.

Accessories (Click Here):
HLD-6 Grip for E-M5: $215.99
VF-2 Viewfinder: $179.99 - $80 Mail in Rebate = $99.99.
VF-3 Viewfinder: $129.99 - $80 Mail in Rebate = $49.99.
Fl-600R Flash: $188.99

This is madness. There may have been more deals I missed so snoop around!

(thanks to pxpaulx for the tip on refurbished prices, and thanks to BAXTING for the tip on lens discounts)
Thanked by krugorg, Fmrvette, Joe_B and 1 others.

Yeah, apparently the bottom just dropped out on the E-m5. Did you check out the refurbished pricing?

Jaw, meet floor
Thanked by krugorg.

$753 Silver kit?!?!?! What. The. Heck.

Just when I was saying the E-M5 has retained value better than pretty much any other M/43 cam.

Does olympus sell so little from their own store that they are supercompensating??

I need to see now if amazon will match their prices.

Those selling really cheap are RECONDITIONED cameras, not new ones! (although I'd trust Olympus to recondition tem properly)

The new one was selling for only $100 off.

Although if I had waited until now I would have missed out on 8 months of enjoyment!

I've edited the first post a couple of times so let me clarify/reiterate.

The proper links are at the bottom of the OP now.

The *new* silver kits cost $909. If you want a black body only, you can go to the new kit page, and select body only from the drop down menu.

The refurbished kits costs $753 (Silver)(Black).

Again, these prices are so good there's a good chance someone screwed up badly at olympus. The new kit is selling for almost $300 less than it is everywhere else. Refurbished, it's basically a $450 discount.

Ohh mann I wish I had the money right now to get this.. .. Do you all think It would be Smart of me to put this on my credit card and try and sell the GH2 I just received the other week, from the Gold box deal black Friday week on Amazon, and sell it before the bill is due..lol?.
Keep in mind until this month I have been just using a G1 for a few years & I am primarily a legacy lens user on my µ4/3. Minolta MD, Canon FD, and C-mount lenses.

P.S.
Whats the Warranty on the reconditioned? I cant seem to find it on there.
