I figured you must have been on the shore due to the angle, but the way there's nothing in the foreground and no other boats it gives the feeling of being out in the middle of the bay. It's a nice composition.

Is that the park just north of Fairhaven with that cool little coffee shop in it?

I've been away with the family for a couple of days. Here's one I really liked from last Saturday:

Thanked by jloden, danska and twokatmew.

That was on my way home this afternoon. I saw the billowing clouds from a few miles away. When I got up next to the cab I could literally feel the heat and I noticed the grass was catching fire. Luckily I got there before all the first responders showed up so I got through quickly. Pretty intense!

Here is a different look at the cab.

I ask because I don't think I would've "seen" this image as shot, but sometimes as I play with the various sliders in Lightroom a composition sort of appears that I didn't necessarily see before.

I'm not sure I explained my question very clearly, but I'm hoping you understand what I'm trying to convey.

A little of both. I actually saw the framing of this one in the LCD, but it was pretty sunny some of the particulars were a happy accident. BUT, the look of the shot came when I was playing with it in Silver EFX Pro2. I had a hunch I wanted it to be contrasty BW but that was about it.
Thanked by DeeJayK.

I'd love to, but I'm about $25k short on the asking price!

Nothing fancy for today, just a locomotive from Ft. Missoula.
