Today's shot is courtesy of our vigilant coonhound, who took it upon herself to alert me to the presence of an intruder in our yard by nearly punching through our sliding glass door

As you can see, autofocus on the 100-300mm is quite squirrelly at 300mm (har, har, har). Note this is not even cropped; I was able to advance slowly, taking shots closer and closer until I got this last one pretty tight in.
