Nice, the Opinel is very popular with bushcrafters (another of my hobbies). Didn't really expect to see this as an image thread here, but why not? Here's a couple I happen to have from my Flickr account. Both knives by my friend Iz Turley of Turley Knives.

Interesting concept for a thread - nice knives, folks.

Damn nice jloden. I've never even heard of bushcraft until now.

I've got a Maestro Wu back at the house you would love, I will take and post some photos when I get back home.

Oh the Opinel is a number 8 with original type of steel for the blade and it cost only 10 €. Not too shabby.
Thanked by jloden and danska.

Very nice Opinel. The LE engraving brings it out. That Turley is also beautiful ! Here are a couple of my new tools.

Nice, I'm digging this thread. Post more knives everyone! I'm heading back to Courty et Fils tomorrow looking to pick up a Douk-Douk before I leave France next week, will post photos of it and some other knives when I get home. Yup, a Douk-Douk. I like classic, useful (and cheap) knives.

My Thiers saw lots of use this week on the beach cutting fruit and opening wine bottles.

Default Foundling Folder

Found this feller stuck in a tree at our last campsite. Not really one I'd choose but the price was right! I know folks that swear by their tactical folders and are never without one.

Thanked by danska and twokatmew.

A few knives that I enjoy using

This one was handmade by JK Knives to my specific design.

Trio of Beckers

The venerable Spyderco "Sage"

A trio of Benchmades...

This svelte "gentleman's knife" is very sweet, sharp, capable, and quite literally a "featherweight". It's so lightweight that you never feel it in your pocket... just right for an evening at the symphony while wearing a suit. (Must admit, I haven't been to the symphony in years and I miss it!)

Before carrying a flashlight and a knife on a daily basis, you never realize how wonderfully useful these tools are... once you carry every day, you find perfect uses for them... pretty much EVERY day!
Thanked by phrenic, steve1111, jloden and 2 others.
