Default Show "Unusual Bokeh"

If you have an adapter, converter, lens, or other device that creates an unusual bokeh then share some images with us.

To start, I have an unbranded 25mm f1.4 C-mount CCTV lens that creates a strange swirly bokeh as seen in the images below.

Thanks for looking,

Nate Hahn

That lens on a waterproof camera shooting pics of a surfer riding a wave would be cool :-) I know that bokeh isn't "ideal" in most cases but it could def. be useful at times!

Cool, that thing swirls more than mine does! And just to be clear, the bokeh posted in this thread doesn't have to be swirly, just something you consider unusual.

Just in case you would be a recent member (less than a year), I would like to tell you about last spring's project I shot, stressing the bokeh of all the lenses I owned at that time.

There's a gallery :

My Flower-Lens a Day project (FLAD) - Mu-43 Gallery

and a topic :

I have started today a FLAD

I hope you enjoy those !

I would love to try a surf shot like that sometime, I used to photograph surfers on the North Shore of Oahu but I live in the mountains of Utah now.

I think I might like to try something like that. I just found out my new house is 3 miles from one of the largest gardens in the United States. The place is called Thanksgiving Point and it spans nearly 60 acres. Thanks for the info, I'll go through those links more tomorrow.
