Default More from the air show

Two more from the DC-3 airshow last Sunday. Both with the G1 and 45-200.

Love the composition and exposure of the first one.

What's the history of the second one? Looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet!

These old planes have a fascinating history. Here's a link to "Judy" and all the old DC-3's that flew in for the event.

ddb, some great shots. Ever posted some of the shots at SIMHQ? They have a section for event photography. There is a guy there named Counterman that takes some of the best HDR aircraft picture I've ever seen.

Excellent pictures - such a gorgeous subject the DC3, and has a place in my heart as it was the first aircraft I ever flew in - more years ago than I care to remember BEA operated the "Dakmaster DC3" from Southampton (when it was still grass!!) to the Channel Islands

These two are super! I really, really like them both very much. Nice color treatment - it emphasizes their vintage natures. Beautiful.
