Vivitar 100mm f/2.8 Macro (Kiron) Image Thread

Here are a few images taken with this most excellent 1:1 macro lens... These were taken with an Olympus 1.4x teleconverter, although this was not necessary as DOF was already too small to get in closer. This lens could have gotten a really tight crop but the DOF would be non-existent for such a small insect. I'm not good enough yet to find focus on a live, jumpy insect with no DOF. :D

Here is a crop of the first image... check out the awesome grim reaper face!

Subject was taken off of my Bearded Dragon's dinner plate and forced to jump around the studio before being put back in the tank. ;)

DOF and focus point were a bit off, but oh well... This was just a test shot anyways.
