Default Tamron 35-80mm f/2.8-3.5 (adaptall QZ-35M) Image Thread

This is a push-pull 1-touch zoom lens. To enter macro mode, one has to pull to 35mm, press the macro button and turn the macro ring. Once in macro mode, push-pull to macro focus.

This is very different from the more well known and later Adaptall-2 SP CF 35-80mm F/2.8-3.8 (01A).

Default Tamron SP 35-80 Adaptall 2 model 01A

This is not exactly the same as the BBAR adaptall lens of the same focal length and speed. This lens is really sharp in my tests almost as good as my Tamron SP 90mm f2.5. I think this lens had a start bid of $19 so I read some reviews and took a chance and got it for that. It is a close focus (10'') model so it works pretty well as a "macro lite" lens.

My standard lens test. this lens is sharp edge to edge. Probably taken at about f3.5 at 80mm

The Tamron in the above images is the Tamron SP 35-80mm 2.8-3.8 Adaptall-2
