Waiting for one of these to arrive. I'm turning into a bit of a Hexaholic. How do you get on with the hood. Some say its not deep enough. Is it removable, if so what did you replace it with.

I just use the built in hood it as it is and it seems to work fine in preventing flares and veiling when shooting with strong side lighting.

My lens arrived today. Wow amazing condition, very slight wear on the aperture ring. Feels very nice in the hand and everything operates so smoothly. Looking at the images in this thread and on other sites, this is one fine lens. I paid £24 for it......bargain.

This is a great little lens, and very sharp:

And here is a shot of that side of the Capitol taken with the Lumix 20/1.7 to show the sculpture in context. The grid pattern over the sculpture is a protective net - I didn't notice it from the ground until I saw it in the 135mm shot.

Very good lens indeed, though a little bit "long" on m4/3 camera for comfort shooting in a city. Anyway, one might be adapted to such an angle quite fast. Normally, I need 20 minutes around to switch my mind to such a view :). I like decent sharpness of the lens and that specific Konica colour rendering, I think, cannot be found in any system else :).

Default Outside of my comfort range

I've been following the thread and stumbled across the 135mm in one of my bags.

Scenes from a demolition site: I used the afternoon to explore what I could accomplish with the Konica 28/f1.8, 40/f1.8. and 135/f3.5 lenses. I was sure outside my comfort range shooting the 135.The focal range is far longer than I am generally accustomed, and mostly too long for most of yesterdays exercise.
