Geez hodad......those are nice shots. Did you sharpen those or are they OOC?

What adapter are you using?

well, I sharpen everything as I usually work from raw but this one
was one of my first shots, hand held, straight jpg......

the adapter is the one which circles the lens completely.
So far it isn't as smooth as I was hoping for. It might
wear in though.....
Thanked by Rich M and walt_tbay.

Here are some more from the Contax Zeiss Planar G 45/2:

Above: A very good result, actually beating the touted Zuiko Digital 50/2 Macro

Above: Very very good

Above: Wide open, in a back yard of an office, overcast. I know, Barnack says "No statues" but...

Above: You judge... (a 100% crop of the previous image)

Above: Finally a more "normal" image, wide open handheld and processed to look as it does. The pure original version looks sharper (if that should be needed)

Hi R,

I have tried the Lens-workshop focusing ring type adapter but as I'm using a g1 it doesn't suits my fingers (due to the protruding flash house). So, have the 90/2.8 with that adapter up for sale hoping somebody with a GF or Pen camera would like to have it.

I use the Kipon geared wheel adapter.

Default Venus and St. Ignatius

I needed a sunset photo as a part of a conversation on Facebook. Since my new Metabones adapter arrived today, my legacy lens for the next few days is the Contax 45mm.

The sunset wasn't very interesting, but shortly thereafter Venus became visible in the dusk.

Default Red, White and Blue

Red, white and blue ... or ... Reloading the printer :)

Just a test shot originally (how closely can I focus?).
I really like the bokeh on this lens, and look forward to playing more with it.

G2, ISO 640, 1/100 sec
Lens wide open (f/2)
