Hard to make a judgement of the lens IQ but that's a bad ass looking lens set up.
Thanked by red and poisson rouge.

Beautiful, classic Angenieux film-style rendering. I love it!

This evening I made some pictures so you will be able to get an idea of the IQ:

[ Angénieux Paris 35mm at f=8 - Overview 6:15 PM ]

[ Angénieux Paris 35mm at f=8 - 100% crop 6:15 PM ]

[ Angénieux Paris 35mm at f=8 - Overview 8:05 PM ]

[ Angénieux Paris 35mm at f=8 - 100% crop 8:05 PM ]

Not bad for this old lady !

Except the cropping no post production was used...
Thanked by phrenic and raviliousness.

Red, ¿all photos were taken with the GF1, including the flower? in the panoramic night, do not understand how you control the F, in my GH2 with adapteds optics that function is inoperative.

I was watching your page and you are a great photographer.
Thanked by red.

What do you mean it is inoperative? The aperture is wholly independent of the camera. Look at the photo of the lens mounted on his GF1, and you can see the aperture numbers on the front of the lens. Just turn the front, so that the line corresponds to the aperture that you want.

Yes, you have to control the aperture manually on the lens - in A-Mode the resulting time will be calculated, but you can fine tune shutter speed also if it is necessary.
And yes, all pictures made with the excellent GF1 camera... my one and only
