I am glad the lens is too expensive for me; otherwise with these great examples here and elsewhere in the forum I would be overwhelmed from the temptation.

I hope they consider making a 25/1.4.

Thanks Amin for sharing!

Is it export from RAW in LR? Anything changed except B&W conversion?
Any export sharpening applied (eg. standard)?

Best Regards,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

I just replied in the GetDPI thread but can give you some more details here. It was straight from Lightroom. I adjusted brightness and contrast in Lightroom. No export sharpening, but I sharpened to taste within Lightroom.

The color version is here:

Missing focus is better than getting kicked .

Thanked by Armanius.

I've read all the threads etc., but honestly

How difficult is this lens to focus wide open on the Oly LCD screen?

Bill, if you have a still subject and use the focus magnification, it isn't hard. If you have a moving subject and are shooting wide open, it's very hard!

Thanks - I have a Nikkor 55mm f1.2 and I find that difficult enough
