First image is pretty sharp. Did you do any PP ? I'm not sure I'm getting the same sharpness as your shots. Umm maybe I'll spend a bit more with the lens.

Yes, they have had some processing. Both have been developed using ACR and they had a few simple tweaks in Photoshop. I apply sharpening in multiple small steps, including after downsizeing for the web. Unfortunately flickr adds even more sharpening when they downsize, so it's best to click the image to view it as I uploaded.

Im thinking the overpriced (actually) 20mm f1.7 will wait a while... the Sigma is in love me.

I was really considering this lens over the 20mm f1.7, but I found solid deal for the 20 and went for it. I take shots in low-light most of the time and the higher aperture of the 20mm definitely helped me make my decision... That being said, this lens seems like an extremely good deal for $199 and it's priced very competitively... and hopefully with competition, prices will go down!

Im waiting tests of still and video of this lens in low light (wait video some owner of the GH2 have this Sigma).
