Great shots Ron.
I'm waiting for announcements from Panasonic and will consider getting this lens afterwards.

Here are a few of my shots. This lens is fantastic, a joy to use, if a bit quirky at times..

I would be interested if anyone has tried video with this lens? I know that's not what i's designed for, but i was excited by the prospect of filming some bugs. What i found was the autofocus noise is a disaster... really... check out this link YouTube - P1000919.MOV.ff.avi.mp4 worst case scenario, but really....

Beautiful images, Jeff. I'm still undecided about this lens, which I'd use in tandem with my 20 1.7 (one camera body with the 20, one with the 45). I'd not use it much for macro, so images like yours are really helpful.

Thanx! I had the same quandary. I'm not much into macro stuff (though I do like to look at it) and wanted a good fast "90mm" focal length lens for the type of stuff I do do. The zooms are just too slow so this was the only real option. So far I'm very pleased with it. It balances well on the GF1, focuses fast and has nice bokeh effect. I too plan to use it in tandem with another GF1 and a 20 to do documentary work on an upcoming project in Argentina.

Cheers
Jeff
