My wish list too - if it wasnt £600, then it would already be in my bag. I "will" own this lens sometime, but just not yet at the price.

I would love this lens for "close up" work I do (not strictly macro), but also for portraits, but I just havent seen enough of these sorts of photos yet to warrant dropping the cash for it yet.

In the meantime I watch this every day - http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/cat31.html just waiting for it to reach maybe £500 :)

Craig, I hope you can post a review of the 45mm macro soon. I have been on the fence about this lens for some time. The few reviews online are somewhat unfavorable, but seem to judge the lens on lab tests. I've looked at plenty of real world images that seem fantastic. Please share your thoughts on this lens when you can. Thanks.
