Don, while I can see a little of the "Island of La Grande Jatte" and "Viewing the Ships".....I think both gentlemen would be rolling in their graves if they heard you say that :) you are right though on one account, often all we need is some soft green grass on a hill overlooking the ocean and a bit of warm sunshine. The simple things right ? :)

Here's one that shows that if you pay attention to your verticals you can go very wide without looking wide (though this was 14, not 7mm)
