i recently got the panny 3 stop nd filter for this lens, so im actually using it instead of staring at it and wondering why it seems so useless to me when everyone in this thread loves it so much... lol :)
so if anyone out there is in the boat i was in, try out the nd filter, its fun to be able to actually use the 1.7 setting outside of the house... silly texas brightness

I lost the sky but I like everything else about this one. I'm still learning to shoot manual and haven't started messing with RAW or post processing yet other than a little white balance correction in Silkypix.

I'm also learning how to keep only the best (our Flickr count is over 6,000 now, mostly of my son), and trying to talk myself out of buying an Olympus 45 f/1.8.

I tried to escape the heat and smoke from nearby wildfires in our local park today. Taken with the GX1.

Since 20mm is the brightest lens I have, it is pulling concert duty.
Shutter Priority on these. Set to 1/100. Any faster and I'd have to go above ISO 3200 which I was keen to avoid.
